Navigating an increasingly competitive B2B landscape, our client, a provider of fintech services, sought to revamp its blog content SEO efforts to reach more businesses and showcase its product offerings. Due to Google's heavy regulations on financial-related keyword advertisements, which are highly relevant to their services, they faced additional challenges in gaining visibility through paid search.
InsightOut developed a content cluster strategy focused on producing new content around important keywords. This approach aimed to increase overall blog search traffic and expand Client’s exposure to non-brand search keywords.
InsightOut’s strategy emphasized targeting the relevant audience at every stage of the marketing funnel. By creating content that catered to both top-of-the-funnel (awareness) and bottom-of-the-funnel (conversion) audiences, InsightOut ensured that the content not only attracted a broad range of potential customers but also guided them through their customer journey. For top-of-the-funnel audiences, informative and engaging content was produced to build brand awareness and interest in Client's services. Meanwhile, for bottom-of-the-funnel audiences, more detailed and persuasive content was created to drive conversions and highlight the specific benefits of Client’s solutions. This comprehensive audience-focused strategy enhanced the blog's ability to attract and retain high-quality traffic, ultimately contributing to Client's overall business objectives.
Within 30 days, we published 5 articles for one content cluster and managed to get the pillar content rank #1 for a highly competitive search keyword.
2+ months later, the blog has seen significant improvements, with a 4.7x better ranking position for important keywords we tracked. Search impressions have increased by 89%, while organic traffic has doubled. Notably, 52% of the planned keywords are now ranking in the top 10 SERP on Google, driven by 16 key articles. These gains demonstrate the effectiveness of our SEO strategy, resulting in higher visibility, better rankings, and increased organic traffic within an average of 30+ days to achieve stable rankings.
